So it all started with not getting enough sleep the past couple days since my sister and brother-in-law came to visit. On top of that Charlotte and Hunter were BOTH awake last night when we all should have been sleeping. This morning my sister left and the real fun started. After playing outside, Hunter came tearing through the house (with new white/beige carpets) covered in mud and a rainbow of sidewalk chalk. Then screamed and cried at the top of his lungs as I hauled him out of there, trying desperately to keep Charlotte asleep. This was followed by lunch and the usual pre-nap fight. He finally went down just as Charlotte started her tirade of screaming. I'd say crying but those of you with babies know that there is a significant difference between crying and screaming. She was definitely screaming and it lasted for over an hour. I tried EVERYTHING but she refused to be happy until she finally conked out while being held.
So I had two kids sleeping and thought I'd finally get a little break. I decided the only thing that sounded good for lunch (at 2:00) was a quesadilla so I opened the NEW bag or tortillas to make it, only to find them moldy.
Now that I have everyone bored of reading how rotten this morning was, I can tell you how much better I feel after reading all your fun blogs! I haven't gotten to read this many since before Charlotte was born and it really was great. So please keep it up and share your funny experiences, happy thoughts, and pictures. Because who knows when I'll need to read them all again.
We'll get pictures up soon, they're way more fun to look at! Until then, I'm putting out a nation wide call for everyone to update their blogs.

Oh man, I feel your pain! Its great to hear that other people have those kind of days :)
But I hope yours gets better, so you can join the blogging world once more!
So you have a house now? Are you still in TN?
Sorry your morning was crummy. At least there was peace finally! :) I LOVE sleeping kids.
How was your visit with your sister? How is married life treating her? (I assume it was Erin, no?)
And if you get the chance (they sure are few and far between) post some pics. We'd love to see your cute kids and new place! Hugs!!
wow heather. you amaze me keeping it all together amidst the crazyness. i'll try to remember that when i'm feeling like life is crazy here! it is nice to know you're human since i often wonder how it is that you can do everything you do and still be happy and positive all the time. :) love you!
Sounds like my days everyday.
We are going to make our blog private and I would love to send you an invite. If you get a second would you leave a comment on my blog with your email address?? I would love to keep in touch with you!!
Oh boy - don't we all have those days! I just keep reminding myself that they won't always been this small, and we'll miss it...maybe not the screaming and tracking in mud...but all the good stuff! :)
I hear ya! Some days all I want is to read a new blog entry and lately that has been hard to come by!
