On the way to church today, Hunter is mumbling something in the back. Pretty soon I can make out "...in my bum"!
Me: What's in your bum?
Hunter: There's a buh-uh-fye in my bum!
Me: A what?!
Hunter: A buh-uh-fye!
Heather: A butterfly?
Hunter: YEAH!
Me: (laughing hysterically) what's it doing in there?
Hunter: playing soccer ball! (Wiggling in his seat) stop it buh-uh-fye, stop it!
At this point I'm trying not to lose control of the car and Heather is just about crying in the passenger seat
A minute later he says...
Papa and Bama (grandpa and grandma) put a buh-uh-fye in my bum!
Wow. I really don't know where this stuff comes from. Uncle Adam, have you been coaching him about things in his bum?

Hey, I relate to Hunter. When I was his age it was a whole strange world down there.. Let him live the dream...
so cute Heather! :)
That is so funny! Of course, I don't think any of us have truly "lived" until we've experienced a butterfly in our bums...
hee hee hee hee hee
...we pictured both of you cracking up! Kids really do say the darndest things.
